  • ABOUT | Underground Civil Supplies

OUR STORY Founded by Paul and Adam—with over a decade of combined industry experience—our company began its journey as a two man operation in a modest warehouse in Peakhurst. After three years of consistent growth, we expanded into a larger warehouse in Kingsgrove and acquired our first delivery truck. At that point, our team had grown to include three account managers and three support staff. In only 2 years we had already outgrown our Kingsgrove warehouse and moved again to our Moorebank location. This expansion necessitated internal growth as well, leading to the creation of new roles: an internal sales position and a projects coordinator, both designed to bolster support for our account managers and enhance operational efficiency. MM Electrical Merchandising (MMEM) acquired the business, implementing streamlined operations and optimizing productivity. We proudly opened a second branch in Brendale Queensland. With our new location now fully operational, we are well-equipped to support and supply all major infrastructure projects throughout the state. 2013 2016 2018 2021 2023 Within the last 4 years our team has doubled in size, culminating in some of our strongest growth this year—with a total of 17 talented professionals now on board. What began in a modest warehouse in Peakhurst has grown into a dynamic, thriving operation. And we’re just getting started! 2025

  • Conduit Feeders

CONDUIT FEEDERS MANDRELS Proving mandrels are used to test the circular integrity of a conduit after back filling. Made from high density polyethylene for long durability and inherent lubricity. Each DPM is assembled with galvanised wire rope and aluminium ferrules to create an eye at each end for fixing of rope for hauling. BELL-M FEEDING SHEAVE IN-LINE BELLMOUTH FEEDING SHEAVE In-Line Bell Mouth Feeding Sheave, placed inside conduit with "bell mouth" to aid with laying cables, also has spreader bolt to lock tight into conduit. Chrome zinc plated finish. LOCKABLE SHEAVE Lockable feeding sheave with roller (115/140mmOD) to aid the entrance and exiting of cables through conduits. LOCKABLE GUIDE Lockable Multiple Roller Guides - The quad roller is a multi-directional roller guide. This sheave has the added benefit of a hinged top roller for removal of cable and roller guide from conduit. Chrome zinc plated finish. SHEAVE 90 DEGREE RAD Lockable Feeding Sheave with 4 Rollers in 90° Radius. Lockable angled guiding rollers for inside manholes are set at 90° with a radius of 450mm. Suitable for directional changes within a manhole. The support frame rests against the wall offering added strength should the pull require it. Zinc plated finish on all with lockable with tension bolt. SLIPPER GUDE Cable slippers protect cables from sharp corners of conduit during laying. They are robust and economical with much thicker material than the cheaper versions on the market. Zinc plated finish.

  • Martin Place Metro Station

  • Spacers

SPACERS Spacers allow conduit of varying sizes and configurations to be laid within a conduit trench or duct at a consistent separation. Spacers assemble easily with no special tools required. Available to suit 100, 125, 150mm and 200mm conduit, our spacers are manufactured in Australia using 100% recycled materials. ORIGINAL SPACER The original spacer is designed to suit 100mm, 125mm, 150mm and 200mm Conduit. QIKBUILD SPACER BORE SPACER Bore Spacers are used in underbore applications to help maintain correct positioning of PVC conduits or PE pipes. Each Bore Spacer is manufactured using either PVC (celluka) or super tough PE board. It can be supplied with or without nylon castor wheels depending on the application. TREFOIL SPACER Ausgrid approved Trefoil Spacers are suitable for a formation of 3 x 150mm conduits, 3 x 63mm conduit and 1x 32mm conduit. BAFFLE SPACER Each Baffle Spacers is manufactured in Australia from 15mm thick PVC or 12mm super tough recycled polyethylene. SPACER BLOCK Spacer Blocks are used to increase the standard 50mm separation between conduits. Available in 20mm, 25mm and 50mm, these stack together to customise the conduit layout. Quick and simple slide-fit assembly Unique taper lock Flexible and easy to conform to uneven trench bases. Thin walls to ensure backfill is unhindered and can flow completely around the conduit. Designed to accommodate either light or heavy duty standard conduit. Allows for various conduit sizes together in the same trench Quick pre-assembly outside of trench Spacers lock together using the unique locking lugs to form a matrix. The matrix can be customised on site to suit the particular application Minimum 50mm separation between conduits by design Maintains correct spacing and geometry among three ducts/cables Helps magnetic field cancellation, reducing inductance and heating Improves thermal performance by ensuring balanced layout Enables easier installation Provides durable support underground or in concrete/soil environments Manufactured in standard sizes to suit common duct/cable diameters Radius Ausgrid approved Tre3foil Spacers are suitable for a formation of 3 x 150mm conduit. 3 x 63mm conduit and 1 x 32mm conduit. Used in underbore application to help maintain correct positioning of PVC conduit or PE pipe. Manufactured using PVC (celluka) or super tough PE board. Bore Spacer is custom designed and cut using a CNC Router.
